Celebrating a decade of success with Ravago Building Solutions UK

This year, we’re celebrating a decade of success helping drive the profile of Ravago Building Solutions UK.

Over 65 years ago, Ravago began making the UK’s first ever range of XPS insulation at its UK headquarters in King’s Lynn, and Ravatherm XPS X continues to be manufactured and distributed from the site.

Over the last ten years, we’ve worked with Ravago’s plant team to showcase their innovative new product formulations and reinforce their position as the UK’s original manufacturer of XPS insulation.

At the moment, we’re particularly engaged with highlighting Ravago’s new recycling process which captures and repurposes 100 per cent of the plant’s manufacturing off-cuts, including microplastic dust that previously went to landfill.

The dust is compressed into blocks, which are then broken down into mini pellets and reprocessed into prime material. 10 tonnes of the stuff are diverted each year – equivalent to a large school bus.

If we earn the right to work with Ravago for another decade, we’ll have to find something much, much bigger to compare the mountain of recycled material to!
