On the 28th August, we celebrated the long and impressive careers of our esteemed colleagues and friends, Graham Smith and Nicky Smith, grateful for their dedication, hard work and the positive impact they’ve had on all of us at TALA and Elan.
Two years ago, in 2023, our TALA journey took a significant turn when Twelve PR joined our family. This wasn’t just a business decision; it was the melding of two agencies that shared a common vision of intelligent communication and heartfelt service.
From the very beginning, Graham and Nicky ensured a seamless transition for both our clients and our teams. Their careful planning and respect for long-standing relationships made this possible.
They also helped foster a culture within our team that makes our employee-owned business a place where people genuinely enjoy working.
Over the summer, we’ve received so many lovely messages from peers across the industries they’ve served, particularly in metal packaging, where their contributions have not only been appreciated but celebrated.
With her extensive background in research and education, Nicky has set a high standard for thoroughness and clarity in everything she does. Graham’s leadership in metal packaging is widely respected, and the strength of his professional relationships is something we can all learn from.
As we move forward, we’ll keep championing our clients with the same integrity and creativity that Nicky and Graham modelled, and continue their spirit of new ideas and determination to champion them.
