Nothing beats being in the room with the key people you want to connect with and to shape conversations that matter and this was the driver behind the parliamentary event we organised last month for our client, the Metal Packaging Manufacturers Association (MPMA).
Throughout 2025 we’ve supported MPMA’s advocacy and strategic communications to engage with Government, MPs and key stakeholders on the unintended consequences of proposed packaging reforms. 2025’s considered advocacy and communications programme concluded with the trade association’s parliamentary exhibition.
Events which have real impact don’t happen by chance. MPMA’s exhibition was designed as an opportunity to underline the unique circularity credentials of aluminium and steel packaging while celebrating the environmental leadership of its members.
Our aim was to deliver an event that would help MPMA amplify its voice and to start new, meaningful conversations.
Key to the dialogue throughout 2025 is demonstrating how MPMA fully supports the UK’s circular economy goals and the drive to improve packaging recycling rates. Through the exhibition and its opening ceremony we provided a snapshot of the remarkable world of metal packaging, revealing how its recycling, food sustainability and environmental credentials quietly support UK society.
A huge thank you to the MPMA team – Jason Galley, Debbie Clements and Bernard Slack – and its members. Our focus now is building on these valuable conversations to support MPMA’s 2026 programme of advocacy and strategic communications.
